''The Journey'' ( es, link=no, El viaje) is a 1942 Argentine film directed by Francisco Múgica. Plot The film tells the story of a young engineer (Roberto Airaldi) from Buenos Aires who met a girl (Mirtha Legrand) at Córdoba Province falling in love with her; but her mother (Ana Arneodo) and her sisters (Aída Luz, Silvana Roth) don't agree with their feelings and they do all that they can for separate them, but at the end he discover why. Francisco Múgica
Francisco Múgica (10 April 1907 – 1985) was an Argentine film director, film editor and cinematographer. He was born and died in Buenos Aires. Múgica initially began his career in film as a cinematographer in the mid-1930s but by 1939 he had become a film director directing his first film ''El Solterón'' early that year followed by the highly successful comedy '' Así es la vida''. He directed some 25 films including the 1942 film '' Adolescencia''. He retired from film in 1962. Aída Luz (born Aída da Luz Borbón, 10 February 1917 – 25 May 2006) was an Argentine actress who primarily worked during the Golden Age of Argentine Cinema, performing on both stage and in films. She won multiple awards for her performances including the Martín Fierro Awards, the ACE de Oro, the Premios Estrella de Mar and the Golden Condor from the Argentine Film Critics Association. Biography Aída da Luz Borbón was born on 10 February 1917 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Juan da Luz de Roca and Josefa Borbón. Her brother would also become a significant figure in the Argentine entertainment industry. She attended the Academy PAADI, and had her entertainment debut on Radio La Nación (which later became Radio Mitre) as a singer. She soon was participating in radio dramas and made the progression to acting in theater.
