The Imp (1981 Film)
''The Imp'' (兇榜; Taiwan name:魔界轉世/魔界轉生) is a 1981 Hong Kong horror film directed by Dennis Yu. Plot With a pregnant wife at home, Keung has been struggling to find a job when he finally finds work as a security guard in a commercial building. Strange incidents occur in the building and his colleagues begin to one-by-one die in horrible ways due to an imp. A geomancer warns Keung that he will be the next victim and teaches him how to avoid the fate. But Keung discovers the imp is trying to possess his baby. Failing to stop this, the ending shows him trying to kill the baby with an axe. Kent Cheng Jak-si (born 22 May 1951) is a Hong Kong film and television actor. He is a two time recipient of the best actor award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Yueh Hua
Yueh Hua (; 14 July 1942 – 20 October 2018) was a Shanghai-born Hong Kong actor, later based in Canada, with Shaw Brothers Studio and TVB. Yueh is one of the most versatile and prolific leading actors of Shaw Brothers. Yueh starred in five to ten films per year in his heyday, playing roles ranging from foolish drunks to scholarly warriors. Yueh died of cancer in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, aged 76. Biography Yueh was born as Leung Lok-wah in Shanghai, with Cantonese ancestry. Yueh emigrated to Hong Kong in 1962 after graduating from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Chan Shen
Chan Shen (11 March 1940 - 26 April 1984) was a Taiwanese-born Hong Kong film actor. He is best known for his roles as gangsters or villains in Hong Kong action cinema in the 1970s. Already an established film actor in Taiwan, he entered the Hong Kong film industry in 1971. He was a particularly prolific actor and would often appear in as many as ten films a year. In his fourteen-year film career in Hong Kong, he appeared in 160 action films. Much of his career was spent at Hong Kong's Shaw Studio. Charlie Chin
Charlie Chin Hsiang-lin (; born May 19, 1948) is a Taiwanese actor. Background Born in Nanjing, China in 1948, he first had his break when he moved to Hong Kong with his family at an early age. At only 12 years of age Charlie moved to Taiwan to join Fuxing Opera School, a Peking opera school. At the age of 20 he moved back to Hong Kong to join Cathay Organisation. His movie debut came in the film '' Xia Ri Chu Lian'', literally translating to "The First Love In Summer". With Brigitte Lin, Joan Lin and Chin Han, the four eventually became known as the "Two Chins, Two Lins" () which became iconic of 1970s romance films in China. The names became a guarantee of box office success, and so Charlie was constantly paired with one of the '2 Lins'. Charlie won 2 Golden Horse Awards and in 2000 he also presented one in Taiwan.
