Felipe Cazals
Felipe Cazals (28 July 1937 – 16 October 2021) was a Mexican film director, screenwriter, and producer. His wife was Rosa Eugenia Báez de Cazals. Together with Arturo Ripstein, Cazals was considered in Mexico one of the most representative film directors of his generation. With his films ' (1986), ''Las Poquianchis'' (1976), ''El Apando'' (1976), and '' Canoa'' (1976), he was considered to be one of the most creative and bitter-critical filmmakers in the history of Latin American movies. ''Canoa'' was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear - Special Jury Prize. Sergio Calderón
Sergio Calderón (July 21, 1945 – May 31, 2023) was a Mexican-born American actor known for his roles in '' Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End'', ''Men in Black'', and ''The Ruins''. Biography Calderón was born in Coatlán del Río, Morelos. He moved to Mexico City when he was ten. He died of pneumonia in Los Angeles, California, on May 31, 2023, at the age of 77. Career Calderón's career spanned six decades. He studied at the Instituto Andrés Soler of the Asociación Nacional de Actores. Afterwards, Calderón made his onscreen debut in ''The Bridge in the Jungle'' (1970). Samuel Gustavo Moreno Rojas (born 11 February 1960) is a Colombian lawyer and politician, son of former congressman Samuel Moreno Díaz and former presidential candidate María Eugenia Rojas Correa, grandson of former Colombian political-military authoritarian leader and ex-president Gustavo Rojas Pinilla. His brother Iván Moreno Rojas is a former Mayor of Bucaramanga, minister and senator. On October 28, 2007, Moreno Rojas was elected Mayor of Bogotá representing the Alternative Democratic Pole (PDA) for the 2008–2012 term. On 3 May 2011, Moreno was suspended and stripped of his office by the Office of the Inspector General for improprieties in the appropriation of city contracts.
