The Gentlemen (1965 Film)
''The Gentlemen'' (german: Die Herren) is a 1965 West German comedy-drama film directed by Franz Seitz, Rolf Thiele and Alfred Weidenmann and starring Paul Hubschmid, Mario Adorf, and Susy Andersen. Plot The focus of the plot is the young journalist Evelyne. The young lady already has a multi-faceted past and has gotten to know quite a few men – from simple boys to extremely wealthy manufacturers. Bored with her job, at the suggestion of a dynamic publisher named Blech, whom she meets at a conference of various writers and other intellectuals in Travemünde, she begins to write down her amorous adventures of the past, hoping to land a raunchy literary sensation. She also ends up in bed with sheet metal. She becomes pregnant by him, but Blech leaves her. In the following episodes, Evelyne looks back on her life and reviews her affairs. Rolf Thiele
Rolf Thiele (7 March 1918 – 9 October 1994) was a German film director, film producer, producer and screenwriter. He directed 42 films between 1951 and 1977. He was born in Ústí nad Labem, Prödlitz, then in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His 1958 film ''Eva (1958 film), Eva'' was entered into the 1959 Cannes Film Festival. Robert Hoffmann
Robert Hoffmann (30 August 1939 – 4 July 2022) was an Austrian actor, best known to British audiences for his title role performance in ''The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe'' (1964). Hoffmann was born in Salzburg. ''Crusoe'' was his screen debut, but he later worked in film (including a number of giallo horror-thrillers) and TV throughout Europe, in Germany, Italy, France the UK, and appeared in films by directors such as Marcel Carné, Antonio Pietrangeli, Robert Siodmak, and Robert Enrico. West or Occident is one of the four cardinal directions or points of the compass. It is the opposite direction from east and is the direction in which the Sun sets on the Earth. Letícia Román (''née'' Novarese; born 12 August 1941) is an Italian film actress. Early years Román was born Letizia Novarese in Rome in 1941. She was the daughter of stage actress Giuliana Gianni and screenwriter/costume designer Nino Novarese. Taught by tutors, Roman received the equivalent of an American high school education. She is fluent in five languages. Roman said that her parents didn't want her to be an actress, but after arriving in Hollywood, she began studying acting under Sandy Meisner.
