Gianfranco Piccioli (26 February 1944 – 27 November 2022) was an Italian film director, film producer and screenwriter best known for such films as '' The Flower with the Petals of Steel'', ''Beach House'', ''Bix'', and ''The Pool Hustlers''. Career Born in Viareggio, Piccioli graduated in arts, music and entertainment disciplines at the University of Bologna. He entered the film industry serving as script supervisor in Maurizio Arena's ''Gli altri, gli altri... e noi''. After directing some shorts and some TV reports, he made his feature film debut in 1972, with ''Doppio a metà''. Carroll Baker (born May 28, 1931) is an American former actress. After studying under Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio, Baker began performing on Broadway in 1954. From there, she was recruited by director Elia Kazan to play the lead in the adaptation of two Tennessee Williams plays into the film ''Baby Doll'' in 1956. Her role in the film as a coquettish but sexually naïve Southern bride earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Gianni Garko (born Giovanni Garcovich; 15 July 1935), often billed as John Garko and occasionally Gary Hudson, is an Italian actor who found fame as a leading man in 1960s Spaghetti Westerns. Ivano Staccioli (3 January 1927 – 15 July 1995) was an Italian film actor. Staccioli made 70 appearances between 1960 and 1991, mostly in film. He is best known for his appearances in historical adventures and action or western films in the 1960s. Particularly in the early 1960s he appeared in many gladiatorial films or ancient epics. In 1965 he starred in the western ''30 Winchester per El Diablo'' and '' A 008, operazione Sterminio'', a spoof of the James Bond genre.
