James Tinling
James Tinling (May 8, 1889 in Seattle – May 14, 1967 in Los Angeles) was an American film director. He worked during the silent period as a prop boy and stuntman, and directed primarily for 20th Century Fox in the 1930s and 1940s. Ethel Wales (April 4, 1878 – February 15, 1952) was an American actress who appeared in more than 130 films during her 30-year career. Arthur Hoyt (March 19, 1874 – January 4, 1953) was an American film character actor who appeared in more than 275 films in his 34-year film career, about a third of them silent films. Career Born in Georgetown, Colorado, in 1874, Hoyt made his Broadway debut in 1905 in ''The Prince Consort''. He also appeared in Ferenc Molnár's ''The Devil'' in 1908, and made his final Broadway appearance in ''The Great Name'' in 1911. Edward Francis Tamblyn (January 5, 1908 – June 22, 1957) was an American actor. He was the father of actor Russ Tamblyn and keyboardist Larry Tamblyn (The Standells), and the grandfather of actress Amber Tamblyn. Born in Yonkers, New York, the son of Edna (née Brown; 1883–1975) and Joseph Tamblyn (1878–1941), he became an actor in the 1930s and made uncredited roles in some movies.
