''The 1st'' is the second studio album by American singer Willow. It was released on October 31, 2017, through MSFTSMusic, Roc Nation and Interscope Records. It was written and produced entirely by Willow. Background The album was released on Willow's 17th birthday, noting that the making of this album was putting her in uncomfortable positions, and is much more raw and organic. Her vocal performances were inspired by Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos. Critical reception ''The 1st'' received a favorable review from Cameron Cook of ''Pitchfork''. Cook gave the album a 6.7 and noted that the "more organic and raw" sound on the album was a "huge leap in the right direction". The album was scheduled for release on November 23, 2011; however, it was delayed to December 7, 2011, in Japan under EMI Music Japan. "The First" is the debut double A-side single by South Korean-Chinese boy band NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. It was released on February 9, 2017 with "My First and Last" serving as the single's title track. Background and release NCT's third unit, NCT Dream, consists of seven members: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. They debuted with the digital single "Chewing Gum" on August 24, 2016. On February 1, 2017, NCT Dream announced that they would be releasing their first single, "The First". The First Evil (usually called The First) is a fictional character created by Joss Whedon for the TV series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. The First Evil first appeared in the third season episode " Amends", and became the main antagonist of the seventh and final season. A being manifested from all evil in existence, the First is an incorporeal entity that can assume the appearance of any person who has died (however briefly) – including vampires and humans who have been resurrected.
