''The Evil Within'' is a survival horror video game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was directed by ''Resident Evil'' series creator Shinji Mikami and was released worldwide in October 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game centers on protagonist Sebastian Castellanos as he is pulled through a distorted world full of nightmarish locations and horrid creatures. Played in a third-person perspective, players battle disfigured nightmare-like enemies, including bosses, using guns and melee weapons, and progress through the levels, avoiding traps, using stealth, and finding collectables. ''Baby Blood'' (titled ''The Evil Within'' in the United States) is a French horror film directed and co-written by Alain Robak, and starring Emmanuelle Escourrou and Jean-François Galotte. The film is about a pregnant woman named Yanka whose womb is invaded by a parasite. The organism transforms her fetus into a monster that desires human blood. Yanka heeds the demand of blood for the creature until it requests to be carried to the sea where it was originally spawned. Catherine MacPhail (25 January 1946 – 28 August 2021) was a Scottish-born author. Although she had had other jobs, she always wanted to be a writer but she didn't think she would be suited to it. Her first published work was a sort of "twist-in-the-tale" story in ''Titbits'', followed by a story in the ''Sunday Post''. After she had won a romantic story competition in ''Woman's Weekly (UK magazine), Woman's Weekly'', she decided to concentrate on romantic novels, but after writing two, she decided that it wasn't right for her. In addition to writing books for children around their teens, she also wrote for adults, she is the author of the BBC Radio 2 series, ''My Mammy And Me''. Personal life MacPhail was married. Rumiko Takahashi's manga series ''Ranma ½'' was adapted into two anime series: ''Ranma ½'' which ran on Fuji TV for 18 episodes and ''Ranma ½ Nettōhen'' which ran for 143. ''Xiaolin Showdown'' is an American animated television series that aired on Kids' WB and was created by Christy Hui. Set in a world where martial arts battles and Eastern magic are commonplace, the series follows Omi, Raimundo, Kimiko, and Clay, four young Xiaolin warriors in training who, alongside their dragon companion Dojo, battle the Heylin forces of evil, especially series antagonists Jack Spicer, Wuya, and Chase Young.
