The Evil Within (2017 Film)
''The Evil Within'' is a 2017 American horror film written and directed by Andrew Getty and starring Frederick Koehler, Michael Berryman, Sean Patrick Flanery and Dina Meyer. It was originally titled ''The Storyteller''. The film's conception and development was a personal project of Getty's, who largely self-financed it at the estimated cost of $4–6 million; production took fifteen years to complete. Following Getty's death in 2015, editing for the film was completed by producer Michael Luceri. The film made its official premiere at the Fantasporto Film Festival on February 26, 2017, and was later acquired by Vision Films, who released it via Video on Demand on April 4, 2017. ''Demon'' is a 2015 Polish horror film written and directed by Marcin Wrona. It was shown in the Vanguard section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. It was Wrona's last feature film, as he died by suicide on 19 September 2015 while promoting the film at the Gdynia Film Festival. Plot Piotr (Itay Tiran), who has been living and working in England for many years, and Zaneta (Agnieszka Zulewska), a Polish lady, are to be married; they had met only over the Internet, but he knew her brother.
