The Empty Planet
''The Empty Planet'' is a two-part story of ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'' which has been broadcast on CBBC on 1 and 2 November 2010. It is the fourth story of the fourth series. In the story, Clyde Langer and Rani Chandra, two alien investigators, are seemingly only people left on Earth after all other humans mysteriously disappear without a trace. Plot Part 1 Sarah Jane tells Mr Smith to do a maximum scan. Clyde asks what is going on; Rani says Mr Smith picked up an alien energy trace for a second, which then vanished into the signals of every energy source on Earth. When they leave Sarah Jane's house, Rani reminds Clyde of their school assignment (to read Great Expectations), which Clyde sees no point in considering they might be invaded. Haresh comes to see Rani in her room, but she asks him to leave so she can finish reading the book. Clyde's mother, Carla, also comes to see him before bedtime. Elisabeth Sladen
Elisabeth Clara Heath-Sladen (1 February 1946 – 19 April 2011) was an English actress. She became best known as Sarah Jane Smith in the British television series ''Doctor Who'', appearing as a regular cast member from 1973 to 1976, alongside both Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker, and reprising the role many times in subsequent decades, both on ''Doctor Who'' and its spin-offs, ''K-9 and Company'' (1981) and ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'' (2007–2011). Sladen was interested in ballet and theatre from childhood, and began to appear on stage in the mid-1960s, although she was more often a stage manager at this time. She moved to London in 1970 and won several television roles, with her acting in the police drama ''Z-Cars'' leading to her being recommended for the role in ''Doctor Who''. After leaving the series, she had other roles on both television and radio before semi-retiring to bring up a family in the mid-1980s. Nikki Wilson (''née'' Smith) is a British television producer whose credits include ''Doctor Who'' and its spin-off ''The Sarah Jane Adventures''. Her career had predominantly been as a script editor, in which capacity she worked on ''Trial & Retribution'' and ''Doctor Who''. Career In 2008, she became a producer on the Doctor Who spinoff ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'' starting with "The Last Sontaran", and in 2010 following the departure of Julie Gardner, she was promoted to executive producer starting with " The Nightmare Man". The Mark Of The Berserker
''The Mark of the Berserker'' is the fourth serial of the second series of the British science fiction television series ''The Sarah Jane Adventures''. It was first broadcast in two weekly parts on CBBC on 3 and 10 November 2008. Due to Elisabeth Sladen's commitments elsewhere, main character Sarah Jane Smith has a minor role in this serial, making the episodes similar to the 'Doctor-lite' episodes of ''Doctor Who'' (" Love & Monsters", "Blink" and “Turn Left") which do not feature The Doctor heavily, as well as the ''Torchwood'' episode "Random Shoes", which had minor roles for most of the main cast. TARDIS
The TARDIS (; acronym for "Time And Relative Dimension In Space") is a fictional hybrid of the time machine and spacecraft that appears in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' and its various spin-offs. ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'' is a British science fiction television programme that was produced by BBC Cymru Wales for CBBC, created by Russell T Davies, and starring Elisabeth Sladen.
