''The Early Years'' is the fifth studio album by Mexican singer Zemmoa, released digitally on June 2023. She signed with Universal Music Mexico as her record label and recorded again the songs that she wrote at the beginning of her career as an independent artist. Background Her song "Fashion Victims" was originally recorded in 2006 and describes a party with Kate Moss and Carmen Campuzano. The song sampled Shake Your Groove Thing, and was part of the soundtrack of ''Así del precipicio'' directed by Teresa Suárez. Zemmoa is the stage name of a Mexican singer-songwriter and musical artist. She is known for her song Mi Amor Soy Yo featuring Tessa Ía and Trans-X that went viral on Spotify in 2021. Carmen Campuzano (; born December 7, 1970 as María del Carmen Campuzano) is a Mexican Acting, actress, and fashion model Campuzano has been featured on the cover of ''Vogue (magazine), Vogue'' magazine three times and won several modeling awards.
