The Devil I Know
''The Devil I Know'' is the fourth studio album by American country music singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde, and released on September 8, 2023, by Warner Music Nashville. It was preceded by the lead single " Light On in the Kitchen". It follows her 2022 concept album ''Lindeville'' and re-teams her with producer Jay Joyce, whom she worked with on her first two albums '' Girl Going Nowhere'' and ''Never Will'', and features eleven tracks, all of which were co-written by McBryde. Background ''The Devil I Know'' had already been completed when McBryde began writing and recording ''Lindeville'' with John Osborne and a series of collaborators, and she submitted both albums to her label simultaneously, stating that they were aware she had been working on something in addition to her "proper" third record but did not know what. Ashley McBryde
Ashley McBryde (born July 29, 1983) is an American country music singer–songwriter. Raised in Arkansas, she was drawn to various types of music from a young age. She also developed a passion for writing songs and later moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a music career. Between 2006 and 2011, McBryde released a pair of self-released albums. Her 2016 extended play (EP) titled '' Jalopies & Expensive Guitars'' drew attention from country artist Eric Church. Travis Meadows (born 1965) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He has released four albums and written a number of songs for other country artists. Early life Meadows was born in 1965 in Mississippi, growing up in Jackson. A twelve-string guitar (or 12-string guitar) is a steel-string guitar with 12 strings in six courses, which produces a thicker, more ringing tone than a standard six-string guitar. Typically, the strings of the lower four courses are tuned in octaves, with those of the upper two courses tuned in unison. The gap between the strings within each dual-string course is narrow, and the strings of each course are fretted and plucked as a single unit. The neck is wider, to accommodate the extra strings, and is similar to the width of a classical guitar neck. Bouzouki
The bouzouki (, also ; el, μπουζούκι ; alt. pl. ''bouzoukia'', from Greek ), also spelled buzuki or buzuci, is a musical instrument popular in Greece.
