Devil Among The Tailors
Devil among the tailors is a form of table skittles which is usually found as a pub game in England. It is likely that the game emerged between 1675 and 1783 and surged in popularity during the 1920s and 1930s before waning again. Today it is found in scattered pockets across most of the country. Description The game involves nine small skittles arranged in a 3 × 3 square, usually on a raised plinth within a shallow open-topped wooden tray, about 2 x 2½ feet in size, sitting on a table-top. A cribbage board often forms part of the tray and is used for keeping score. The wooden ball (about the size of a golf ball) hangs from a string or chain attached to the top of a vertical wooden post rising from one corner of the box or one-third of the way along one side. The top of the post swivels to allow the ball to swing freely. The aim of the game is to knock down the skittles by swinging the ball in an arc round the post (rather than aiming directly at the skittles). It is also ...

In/Casino/Out
''In/Casino/Out'' (stylized as ''in/CASINO/OUT'') is the second full-length album by American post-hardcore band At the Drive-In, released on August 18, 1998, through Fearless Records. It was recorded as a live studio album, with the intention of better capturing the energy and sound of their live shows. The album marks a clear middle ground between the raw, lo-fi sound of their first album, ''Acrobatic Tenement'', and the sleeker, more produced sound heard on ''Relationship of Command''. In 2016, ''Rolling Stone'' placed the album at #20 in their "40 Greatest Emo Albums of All Time" list. Background and recording During the recording of the album, the band faced a sort of crisis when they were unable to find a label that was able to release the record. By that point in time, Flipside, the label that issued ''Acrobatic Tenement'', quit releasing records and Offtime Records, who released the band's ''El Gran Orgo'' the previous year, was not in the financial position to issue mo ...

Firework
Fireworks are a class of low explosive pyrotechnic devices used for aesthetic and entertainment purposes. They are most commonly used in fireworks displays (also called a fireworks show or pyrotechnics), combining a large number of devices in an outdoor setting. Such displays are the focal point of many cultural and religious celebrations. Fireworks take many forms to produce four primary effects: noise, light, smoke, and floating materials (confetti most notably). They may be designed to burn with colored flames and sparks including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and silver. They are generally classified by where they perform, either 'ground' or 'aerial'. Aerial fireworks may have their own propulsion (skyrocket) or be shot into the air by a mortar ( aerial shell). Most fireworks consist of a paper or pasteboard tube or casing filled with the combustible material, often pyrotechnic stars. A number of these tubes or cases may be combined so as to make when kind ...
