The Daily Show (Irish TV Series)
''The Daily Show'' is a lifestyle magazine show which aired on the RTÉ One television channel in Republic of Ireland, Ireland, and which debuted as part of RTÉ's autumn/winter season 2010. It followed '' Four Live (Irish TV series), Four Live'', presented by Maura Derrane. Presented by Dáithí Ó Sé and Claire Byrne, ''The Daily Show'' began on Monday 20 September 2010. It ended on 2 March 2012 due to budget cutbacks at RTÉ. Presenters Dáithí Ó Sé Dáithí is a native Irish language, Irish speaker and began his TV career on TG4 as a weather man and as one of their continuity announcers. He also hosted the documentary series ''Dáithí ar Route 66'' and ''Dáithí ar Route 61'' for TG4. Multi-camera Setup
The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. In this way, multiple shots are obtained in a single take without having to start and stop the action. This is more efficient for programs that are to be shown a short time after being shot as it reduces the time spent in film or video editing. Virgin Media One, also called Virgin One, is an Irish free-to-air television channel owned by Virgin Media Ireland (part of Liberty Global), operated through its subsidiary Virgin Media Television. The channel was known until 30 August 2018 as TV3 (and until 2006 as TV Three, launched on 20 September 1998), becoming Ireland's first commercial television channel. ''The Herald'' is a nationwide mid-market tabloid newspaper headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and published by Independent News & Media who are a subsidiary of Mediahuis. It is published Monday–Saturday. The newspaper was known as the ''Evening Herald'' until its name was changed in 2013. History The ''Evening Herald'' was first published in Dublin on 19 December 1891. In 1982 the paper changed its size from broadsheet to tabloid. Stefanie Powers
Stefanie Powers (born November 2, 1942) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Jennifer Hart on the mystery television series '' Hart to Hart'' (1979–1984), for which she received nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards. Early life Powers was born in Hollywood as Stefania Zofya Paul, but her surname often was cited as Federkiewicz. ''Hart to Hart'' is an American mystery television series that premiered on August 25, 1979, on ABC. The show stars Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers as Jonathan and Jennifer Hart, respectively, a wealthy couple who lead a glamorous jetset lifestyle and regularly find themselves working as unpaid detectives in order to solve crimes in which they become embroiled. John and Edward Grimes (born 16 October 1991), collectively known as Jedward (a portmanteau of their first names), are an Irish singing and television presenting duo. They are identical twins who first appeared as John & Edward in the sixth series of '' The X Factor'' in 2009, generating a phenomenon of ironic popularity described as "the Jedward paradox". Kara Louise Tointon (born 5 August 1983) is an English actress, known for portraying the role of Dawn Swann in the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders''. Lottie Ryan (born 15 October 1985) is an Irish television and radio presenter with Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), Ireland's national radio and television station.
