The Cult Of Snap!
''The Cult of Snap!'' is a compilation album from German Eurodance group Snap!. Following Plaything's remixed version of their single " Do You See The Light" in 2002, Snap! re-worked and re-mixed their singles with various artists', leading the release of the album, "The Cult of Snap!" in 2003. Three additional singles were released; " Rhythm Is a Dancer (2003)", " The Power (Of Bhangra)" and " Ooops Up (2003)" and all charted in Germany. The album peaked at #5 in Norway. Reviews Andy Kellman of AllMusic gave the album 3 out of 5 stars, saying; "Unless you haven't been paying attention (which would be understandable), you know that Snap!'s core hits -- "The Power," "Rhythm Is a Dancer," "Ooops Up!," "Mary Had a Little Boy"—have been run through just about every kind of club remix you can imagine. Downtempo, bhangra, trance, filter house, and several other stylistic trends from the past decade have had their way with Snap!, and the results are of interest only to those who real ...

"The World in My Hands" is a song by German Eurodance project Snap!. It was released in 1995 by Ariola, Arista and BMG as the third single from the project's third studio album, '' Welcome to Tomorrow'' (1994). The song features vocals by American singer Summer (a.k.a. Paula Brown), who had previously performed on " Welcome to Tomorrow (Are You Ready?)" and " The First the Last Eternity (Till the End)". Although "The World in My Hands" didn't reach the same level of success as Snap!'s earlier singles, it was a notable hit in Europe, being a top 30 hit in Belgium (25) and a top 40 hit in the Netherlands (37). On the European Dance Radio Chart, the song peaked at number nine in October 1995. Critical reception British magazine '' Music Week'' wrote, "The video for this single took three months to make. Fragma
Fragma are a German vocal trance music group, originally comprising three producers. The group was successful in the early 2000s when they released several singles that charted successfully across Europe, especially the United Kingdom and Ireland, but also found some success in the United States and Australia. They continued to produce music until 2012 following the departure of vocalist Damae. After several years of hiatus, Fragma recruited a new vocalist in 2017, Tess, to front the group. Welcome To Tomorrow (Are You Ready?)
"Welcome to Tomorrow (Are You Ready?)" is a song recorded by German Eurodance group Snap!, released in September 1994 as the lead single from their third and final studio album, '' Welcome to Tomorrow'' (1994). It features vocals by American singer Summer (a.k.a. Paula Brown) and reached number-one in Finland. It was also a top 10 hit in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. Its accompanying music video, made with Softimage 3D, took three months to finish. Critical reception Larry Flick from ''Billboard'' noted that this time, the act that has had hits with " The Power" and " Rhythm Is A Dancer" "jumps on the bandwagon with a track that fiddles with the formula by adding choral oohs and aahs to the background, as well as a line of racing, futuristic synths. This makes the single sound different enough to jump ahead of the increasingly crowded pack and score instant (and active) play." A reviewer from '' Manila Standard'' described it as "cyberpunk ...

Its accompanying music video was directed by Angel, who had previously directed several videos for Snap!. Critical reception Alan Jones from ''Music Week'' wrote, "The most consistent Euro act of the past few years, Snap! are back with the oddly-titled "Rame", an excellent song on which they venture into the ethnic dance arena inhabited by Deep Forest and Enigma (German band), Enigma. A throbbing dance beat overlaid with softer tones provide the backing to a wailing exotic female vocalist. A deserved hit." James Hyman from the ''Record Mirror, RM'' Dance Update rated it four out of five. He added, "Well-layered and exceedingly well-produ ...

Cult Of Snap
In modern English, ''cult'' is usually a pejorative term for a social group that is defined by its unusual religious, spiritual, or philosophical beliefs and rituals, or its common interest in a particular personality, object, or goal. This sense of the term is controversial and weakly defined—having divergent definitions both in popular culture and academia—and has also been an ongoing source of contention among scholars across several fields of study. Richardson, James T. 1993. "Definitions of Cult: From Sociological-Technical to Popular-Negative." ''Review of Religious Research'' 34(4):348–56. . . An older sense of the word involves a set of religious devotional practices that are conventional within their culture, related to a particular figure, and often associated with a particular place. References to the "cult" of a particular Catholic saint, or the imperial cult of ancient Rome, for example, use this sense of the word. While the literal and original sense of ...

The song was quite successful on the charts in Europe, and a top 10 hit in at least 11 countries, as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100, where it peaked at number eight. The accompanying music video was filmed in Death Valley, California. Critical reception AllMusic named "Colour of Love" one of the "standout" tracks from '' The Madman's Return''. Ken Capobianco from ''The Boston Globe'' complimented Thea Austin's "colorful" voice, describing the song as "a meek but graceful look at interracial love." Clark and DeVaney from '' Cashbox'' picked it as one of two cuts from the album that "stand out", remarking that "the sounds that are offered on this album have a little more depth and variety compared to their last release." A reviewer f ...
