The Broken (film)
''The Broken'' is a 2008 French-British horror film written and directed by Sean Ellis and starring Lena Headey. Plot Gina McVey, a successful radiologist, is examining x-rays of a patient with Situs Inversus, an uncommon condition in which a person is born with their heart and other organs reversed or mirrored from their normal positions. On the birthday of her father, John, Gina, along with her boyfriend Stefan Moreau, her brother Daniel and his girlfriend Kate Coleman surprise John in his home. In the middle of the dinner party, a mirror previously knocked askew when John entered the room falls and shatters. Kate and Gina proceed to clean the shards and discuss that breaking mirrors is a sign of bad luck. At work the next day, Gina is baffled by her assistant Anthony when he tells her that he just saw her walking out of the building. Gina explains that she has been inside the whole time. Kevin Rose is an American Internet entrepreneur who co-founded Revision3, Digg, Pownce, and Milk. He also served as production assistant and co-host at TechTV's ''The Screen Savers''. From 2012 to 2015, he was a venture partner at GV. Early life and education Rose was born in California and lived in Oregon before his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent most of his childhood. He became an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Rose transferred to Southeast Career Technical Academy for high school (formerly known as Vo-Tech High School) in Las Vegas in 1992. He then attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, majored in computer science but dropped out in 1998. Career Rose worked for two dot-com startups through CMGI. Television Rose was hired as a production assistant for ''The Screen Savers''. ''Year of the Black Rainbow'' is the fifth studio album by rock band Coheed and Cambria, released on April 13, 2010 through Columbia. The album is a prequel to the band's previous four concept albums, which comprise The Amory Wars narrative. ''Year of the Black Rainbow'' marks drummer Chris Pennie's only studio appearance. It is the last album to feature Michael Todd on bass. The band began recording the album in 2009. Prior to the release of the album, Coheed released two singles, "The Broken" and " Here We Are Juggernaut". The album received mainly positive reviews and peaked at number 5 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 35 on the UK Albums Chart. The deluxe version of the album was accompanied by a novel written by the band's vocalist/guitarist Claudio Sanchez and writer Peter David. Brokencyde (stylized as brokeNCYDE) is an American hip hop group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2006. The group's lineup consists of David "Se7en" Gallegos and Michael "Mikl" Shea, and musically are one of the founding groups in the crunkcore genre, which (in general description) is crunk hip hop music with screamed vocals. History Formation, record deal and debut album (2006–2009) Brokencyde was founded by singers Se7en and Mikl. The name of the group supposedly originated from the idea that their music was "broke inside" due to personal problems. After the band began promoting themselves online, members Phat J and Antz joined Brokencyde. They released their debut mixtape, ''The Broken!'', in July 2007, followed by another mixtape, ''Tha $c3ne Mixtape'' (2008). Brokencyde toured with bands such as Breathe Carolina, The Morning Of, Karate High School, and Drop Dead, Gorgeous.
