The Boys Season 2
The second season of the American satirical superhero television series ''The Boys'', the first series in the franchise based on the comic book series of the same name written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was developed for television by American writer and television producer Eric Kripke. The season was produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with Point Grey Pictures, Original Film, Kripke Enterprises, Kickstart Entertainment and KFL Nightsky Productions. The show's second season stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie returning from the previous season, and Aya Cash joining the cast. The story continues the conflict between the two groups with the eponymous Boys, now with the aid of Starlight (Moriarty) continuing their efforts to defeat Vought despite being wanted by the government. Eric Kripke
Eric Kripke (born 1974) is an American writer and television producer. He came to prominence as the creator of the fantasy drama series ''Supernatural'' (2005–2020) which aired on The CW. He served as the showrunner during the first five seasons of the series. Kripke also created the post-apocalyptic drama series ''Revolution'' (2012–2014) and co-created the science fiction series '' Timeless'' (2016–2018). Since 2019, he has served as showrunner of the superhero series '' The Boys'', which was developed for Amazon Prime Video. Early life Kripke, who is Jewish, was raised in the Toledo, Ohio, suburb Sylvania Township, the son of Larry and Joan Kripke, and graduated from Sylvania Southview High School in 1992. William J. "Billy" Butcher, or "Billy the Butcher", is a fictional character and antihero in the comic book and Amazon Prime series ''The Boys'', created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Rebecca Anne "Annie" January is a fictional superheroine in the comic book series '' The Boys'', created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Darick W. Robertson is an American artist best known for his work as a comic book illustrator on series he co-created, notably ''Transmetropolitan'' (1997–2002) and '' The Boys'' (2006–2012; 2020). Robertson has illustrated hundreds of comics in his twenty plus years in the industry.
