The Black Room (2017 Film)
''The Black Room'' is an American horror film written and directed by Rolfe Kanefsky. It stars Natasha Henstridge, Lukas Hassel and Lin Shaye. Synopsis Newlyweds Jennifer and Paul have moved into what is meant to become a dream home, only to discover that their basement contains a black room that houses a demonic presence that uses lust and arousal to conquer human souls. Rolfe Kanefsky
Rolfe Kanefsky (born 1969) is an American film writer/director who specializes in horror films. Early life Kanefsky grew up in the suburbs of New York and attended Hampshire College where he studied Film. He began writing stories at a young age after his childhood dream of becoming a clown took the backseat to his interest in film. By the time he was twenty-one, Rolfe had written and directed the original cult classic horror spoof '' There's Nothing Out There''. Rolfe eventually moved to California and has since been making his living writing and directing. Films Kanefsky has directed 15 of his own films and been the writer on several others. Kanefsky's first film was the comedy/horror feature '' There's Nothing Out There'' (1989), a parody of the horror film genre. Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London, that performs and produces primarily classic works. The RPO was established by Thomas Beecham in 1946. In its early days, the orchestra secured profitable recording contracts and important engagements including the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the concerts of the Royal Philharmonic Society. After Beecham's death in 1961, the RPO's fortunes declined steeply. The RPO battled for survival until the mid-1960s, when its future was secured after a report by the Arts Council of Great Britain recommended that it should receive public subsidy. A further crisis arose in the same era when it seemed that the orchestra's right to call itself "Royal" could be withdrawn. Gregory Stuart Lake (10 November 1947 – 7 December 2016) was an English musician, singer, and songwriter. He gained prominence as a founding member of the progressive rock bands King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). Born and brought up in Dorset, Lake began to play the guitar at the age of 12 and wrote his first song, " Lucky Man", at the same age. Keith Noel Emerson (2 November 1944 – 11 March 2016) was an English keyboardist, songwriter, and record producer. He played keyboards in a number of bands before finding his first commercial success with the Nice in the late 1960s. He became internationally famous for his work with the Nice, which included writing rock arrangements of classical music.
