The Best Of Me (TV Special)
''The Best of Me'' is a concert television special by Filipino singer Regine Velasquez. It originally aired on April 27, 2008, in the Philippines on GMA Network. A celebration of Velasquez's 38th birthday, the program consisted of solo performances and select duets. Filmed at Velasquez's Ayala Hillside Estates residence in Quezon City, the two-hour special was directed by Louie Ignacio, while Raul Mitra served as the music director. The program featured guest stars Ogie Alcasid, Jay R, and Kyla, and a special performance with the singer's parents. The stage was set up on the infinity pool, with musicians, background vocalists and a string section. Luisito Lagdameo Ignacio (born April 2, 1968), better known as Louie Ignacio is a Filipino television director, film director, music video director, and painter. He studied AB Mass Communication in Centro Escolar University. Ignacio also directs indie films including 2014 film ''Asintado'' which earned nominations in the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema and Gold Remi in the family/children's category on the 48th WorldFest Houston (Texas) International Film Festival, and ''Child Haus'' which won Best Child Film at the Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh. Urduja was a legendary Women warriors in literature and culture, warrior princess recorded in the travel accounts of Ibn Battuta (1304 – possibly 1368 or 1377 AD). She was described to be a princess of ''Kaylukari'' in the land of ''Tawalisi''. Though the locations of ''Kaylukari'' and ''Tawalisi'' are disputed, in the Philippines Urduja is widely believed to be from Pangasinan, and has since been regarded as a national heroine. "Falling Slowly" is a song in the indie folk and indie rock genres that was written, composed and performed by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.
