''The Beat the Sound the Dragon's Roar'' is the third studio EP from the American rock band Rock N Roll Hi Fives. Content The six-track EP was released on compact disc and digital download with Little Dickman Records, their first with the label, on 21 October 2016. In '' The Asbury Park Press'', Joe Centeno says "we wrote these songs to have fun, play fast, loud, and to wake up the beast." The album draws comparison to the music of the B-52's, the Stooges, and the Ramones. Rock N Roll Hi Fives performed ''The Beat the Sound the Dragon's Roar'' in its entirety, plus a rendition of "We Got the Beat" by the Go-Go's, on the college radio station WRSU on 21 October 2016. Rock N Roll Hi Fives are an American rock band from New Jersey. History Rock N Roll Hi Fives are a rock and roll four-piece from New Jersey, that formed in 2013. The band is composed of vocalist Eilee Centeno, drummer Evren Centeno, bassist Gloree Centeno, and guitarist and vocalist Joe Centeno. J. Centeno performed in the late 1990s band Plug Spark Sanjay and the post-millennial band American Watercolor Movement. Ei. Centeno and G. Centeno began playing music around 2010, and Ev. WRSU
WRSU (88.7 FM) is a non-commercial college radio station serving the greater Central New Jersey area, broadcasting from the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. It is a student and faculty-run radio station with Rutgers faculty member Mike Pavlichko serving as its Broadcast Administrator. WRSU broadcasts on FM and streams all of its programming online.
