The thirteenth season of American Broadcasting Company, ABC reality television series ''The Bachelor (U.S. TV series), The Bachelor'' premiered on January 5, 2009, and featured 32-year-old single parent Jason Mesnick from Kirkland, Washington. Mesnick was the runner-up of The Bachelorette (American season 4), season four of ''The Bachelorette (American TV series), The Bachelorette'' featuring DeAnna Pappas. He became the second former ''The Bachelorette'' suitor to compete on ''The Bachelor'' since Bob Guiney of season 1 of ''The Bachelorette'' and season 4 of ''The Bachelor''. Blue Island is a city in Cook County, Illinois, located approximately south of Chicago's Loop. Blue Island is adjacent to the city of Chicago and shares its northern boundary with that city's Morgan Park neighborhood. The population was 22,558 at the 2020 United States Census. Sewickley is a Borough (Pennsylvania), borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, west northwest of Pittsburgh along the Ohio River. It is a residential suburb of Pittsburgh. Peace River, originally named Peace River Crossing and known as in French, is a town in northwest Alberta, Canada. It is along the banks of the Peace River at its confluence with the Smoky River, the Heart River and Pat's Creek.
