The Art Of War (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony Album)
''The Art of War'' is the third studio album by hip hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony which was released on July 29, 1997. The album sold 394,000 units in its first week of release. The album was certified quadruple Platinum by the RIAA in June 1998. It was the first double-album from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. The album included the platinum-single " Look into My Eyes", and the gold-single " If I Could Teach the World". The whole album is produced by DJ U-Neek. A sequel to the album '' The Art of War: World War III'' was released on December 10, 2013. Background The album was rumored to be called "DNA Level C" which is Cleveland backwards. Do or Die is an American Rap music, rap trio originally from the West Garfield Park, Chicago, East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side, Chicago, West Side of Chicago, consisting of N.A.R.D., Belo Zero, and AK-47. The group experienced mainstream success with the platinum single "Po Pimp", which peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Music career 1996: Picture This Do or Die gained a hit with their first single, "Po Pimp". Released on a tiny Chicago label, the track became a local hit and sparked the group's signing by Houston's Rap-A-Lot Records. Capone-N-Noreaga (also known as C-N-N) are an American hip hop duo formed in 1995 from Queens, New York. The duo features East Coast rappers Capone and N.O.R.E. History In October 1995, Capone-N-Noreaga appeared in ''The Source'' magazine's "Unsigned Hype" column. In 1996, the duo secured a recording contract with Neil Levine's Penalty Recordings. "Quiet Storm" is the first single from Mobb Deep's fourth album ''Murda Muzik''. The song was originally released on the soundtrack for the film '' In Too Deep''. Mobb Deep was an American hip hop duo from New York City. The duo consisted of rappers Prodigy and Havoc. They are considered to be among the principal progenitors of hardcore East Coast hip hopEdwards, Paul, 2009, ''How to Rap: The Art & Science of the Hip-Hop MC'', Chicago Review Press, p. 323. and hip hop in the mid-1990s. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos of all time, having sold over three million records. Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand (born September 6, 1978), better known by her stage name Foxy Brown, is an American rapper.
