Alexei Nikolaevich (russian: link=no, Алексе́й Никола́евич) (12 August .S. 30 July1904 – 17 July 1918) was the last Tsesarevich (heir apparent to the throne of the Russian Empire). Nicholas II or Nikolai II Alexandrovich Romanov; spelled in pre-revolutionary script.
