The Anonymous Mis
Remon Stotijn (born 27 December 1975), known professionally as Postman or The Anonymous Mis, is a Dutch rapper and record producer, who is a member of the band Postmen. Biography Remon Stotijn was born on December 27, 1975, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His father was Surinamese, his mother was Dutch and came from Rotterdam, the city he grew up in. At the age of 16 he was part of the Rotterdam hiphop band Secret Recipe. In 1993 Stotijn and G-Boah (aka Gus Bear) formed the band Postmen. Stotijn is the author of all Postmen songs. In 2004 he married the rock singer Anouk. He has written 2 songs for her album ''Hotel New York''. In 2005 he moved to the U.S. with his wife and their children (they eventually have three). Peter Kops (born 1967), known professionally as Extince (also known as "Exter-O-naldus" or "De Exter"), is one of the first Dutch language rappers, or Dutch Hip-Hoppers to achieve a top-40 hit in the mainstream Dutch music charts. His hit song "Spraakwater" rose into the top-ten, and was a historic breakthrough for Dutch-language rap & hip-hop – even more than for the artist himself. Raymond Christiaan Rensen a.k.a. Raymzter (born 1979 in Almere) is a Dutch rapper. Biography Raymzter was born in Almere to a Moroccan father and a Dutch mother. He developed an interest in hip hop early in life after listening to a Public Enemy album. He started writing lyrics in English but later switched to Dutch. In 2000 he formed a band with Dominiq Dorwart (Dj-Do), Glenn Gaddum, Jason Chocolaad and Rowin Tetteroo, and this group won first place in the hip hop category at the "Grand Prix of the Netherlands Talent Show". He also won an MC battle, and began making a name for himself in the Dutch hip hop scene. In 2002, he contributed two songs to a compilation CD, ''Homegrown - Dope Dutch Hiphop Talent'', and in June of the same year won the "Essent Music Award", earning him a gig at Lowlands festival. Dennis Bouman (born May 3, 1970), known professionally as Def Rhymz, is a Surinamese-Dutch rapper best known for his humouristic raps. He was the first Dutch rapper ever to hit the number 1 spot on the Dutch charts, with two songs: ''Doekoe'' in 1999 and ''Schudden'' in 2001. E-Life
Elvis de Oliveira, better known as E-Life, is a rapper from Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is also a DJ for radio station Juize FM. E-Life started his music career with rap crew Dope Syndicate. DJ Raw Deal's move to the United States in 1995 prompted E-Life to go solo, touring through Europe. His first solo single, ''Stacked With Honors'', came out a year later, in 1996. The song received a lot of airplay on the radio, but didn't make it to the charts. It was nominated for best hiphop song for the 1997 TMF Awards, and it allowed E-Life to perform with LL Cool J, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Ice Cube, the Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Blackstreet and Run DMC.
