The Andrew Neil Show (2019 TV Programme)
''The Andrew Neil Show'' is a BBC political programme presented by Andrew Neil. It was broadcast on BBC Two every Wednesday evening. It was launched on 4 September 2019 and returned for a second series on 8 January 2020. The show came off-air during the COVID-19 pandemic on 11 March 2020 and was then cancelled as a result of budget cuts at the BBC. Background Neil's long-running politics and current affairs programme ''This Week'' ended in July 2019 following his decision to "step down from late-night broadcasting". His lunchtime ''Daily Politics'' show ended in 2018 after 15 years. Andy McDonald (politician)
Andrew Joseph McDonald (born 8 March 1958) is a British Labour politician and solicitor. He served as Shadow Secretary of State for Transport in Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet from 2016 to 2020, and as Shadow Secretary of State for Employment Rights and Protections under Keir Starmer before resigning in September 2021. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Middlesbrough in the House of Commons since 2012. He is a member of the Socialist Campaign Group parliamentary caucus. James Spencer Cleverly (born 4 September 1969) is a British politician and Army Reserve officer who has served as Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs since 2022. 2019 World Athletics Championships
The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics. It was held between 27 September and 6 October 2019 in Doha, Qatar, at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium, but reduced to 21,000 available seats. 1,772 athletes from 206 teams competed in 49 athletics events over the ten-day competition, comprising 24 events each for men and women, plus a mixed relay.
