Thầy Temple (Vietnamese: Chùa Thầy or ''Master's Temple'') is a Buddhist temple in Quốc Oai District (formerly Hà Tây Province, now part of Hanoi), Vietnam. The temple is also known as ''Thiên Phúc Tự'' ("Temple of Heavenly Blessings"). The temple was established in the 11th century during the reign of Emperor Lý Nhân Tông of the Lý dynasty. It is dedicated to Vietnamese Thiền master Từ Đạo Hạnh (1072-1116). It is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Vietnam, It is well maintained by the monks. The temple is a center of pilgrimage during Tết. Geography The temple is located in Sài Sơn village, from Hanoi. Thích Nhất Hạnh ( ; ; born Nguyễn Xuân Bảo; 11 October 1926 – 22 January 2022) was a Vietnamese Thiền Buddhist monk, peace activist, prolific author, poet and teacher, who founded the Plum Village Tradition, historically recognized as the main inspiration for engaged Buddhism. Known as the "father of mindfulness", Nhất Hạnh was a major influence on Western practices of Buddhism. In the mid-1960s, Nhất Hạnh co-founded the School of Youth for Social Services and created the Order of Interbeing. He was exiled from South Vietnam in 1966 after expressing opposition to the war and refusing to take sides. In 1967, Martin Luther King Jr. nominated him for a Nobel Peace Prize. Nhất Hạnh established dozens of monasteries and practice centers and spent many years living at the Plum Village Monastery, which he founded in 1982 in southwest France near Thénac, traveling internationally to give retreats and talks. ''Thays'' () is a Pakistani drama serial that first aired on 18 April 2018 on A-Plus TV. It stars Junaid Khan and Hira Mani in lead roles. Plot Rubab is in love with Asher. However, Asher is not interested in Rubab. Rubab's mother, Zehra, is very possessive of her daughter. She does not want Rubab and Asher to be together and conspires against Rubab. She writes fake letters on behalf of Asher to Rubab. The letter states that Asher is in love with his colleague and has married her. Unable to bear the pain, Rubab tries to commit suicide. Asher gets concerned for Rubab. Zehra then hires a girl who blames Asher for sexual harassment. Zehra gets Rubab married to a man of her choice, unaware that he's a con man. Rubab's husband fleeces her for money and leaves her pregnant. Zehra tries to manipulate the situation again but fails as Rubab discovers the truth.
