"Thank You" is a new jack swing song by American R&B/soul group Boyz II Men, released as the third single from their second studio album, '' II'' (1994). The song was co-produced by Dallas Austin and Boyz II Men. It did not perform as well as its predecessor and reached a peak position of #21 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and the Hot Singles Sales on March 18, 1995, and March 25, 1995, respectively, and also reached #17 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs. "Thank You" performed moderately well in the UK eventually peaking at #26 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also peaked at #17 on the New Zealand RIANZ singles chart, #27 on the French singles chart and #33 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. "Thank You" is a song written by Sandra Nordström, Mathias Venge and Peter Wennerberg, and performed by Amy Diamond at Melodifestivalen 2008. The song participated in the first semifinal in Gothenburg on 9 February 2008 and headed directly to the finals, held inside the Stockholm Globe Arena on 15 March that year. Once there, the song ended up 8th. The single peaked at number eight on the Swedish singles chart. On 20 April 2008, the song was tested for Svensktoppen ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing at Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Shaun Michael Fleming (born May 31, 1987) is an American musician and actor. He is best known as the former live drummer of the indie rock band Foxygen and the creator of his solo project Diane Coffee as well as his Disney voice acting career. Acting career Fleming began his career starring in the independent film ''Operation Splitsville'' (1999) which led to his first role for the Walt Disney Corporation as Max Goof in the film ''Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas''. Bombadil is a four-piece Americana, folk-pop band from Durham, North Carolina with guitar, bass, piano, and drums as their primary instruments. The band is known for their creative and heartfelt lyrics, lush vocal harmonies, thoughtful arrangements, and engaging live show. History Bombadil began in early 2005 after guitarist Bryan Rahija and bassist Daniel Michalak were studying abroad in Bolivia as students at Duke University. They recorded several demos at an elementary school in La Paz during their spare time. After returning to the U.S., Michalak recruited his brother John to write drum parts. Pianist and friend Stuart Robinson joined the band a few months later. Raymond Howard "Ray" Boltz (born June 14, 1953) is a retired singer and songwriter who first came to wide notice in contemporary Christian music. Many of his songs tell stories of faith and inspiration. Background Raised by his parents William and Ruth Boltz in Muncie, Indiana, Ray Boltz is the middle of his parents' three children (a fourth child died shortly after birth). Boltz was married to Carol (nee Brammer) Boltz for 33 years (1975-2008), and they have four children: Karen, Philip, Elizabeth and Sara. Boltz graduated from Ball State University with a degree in business and marketing. Boltz was virtually unknown when he wrote "Thank You", which won the Song of the Year prize at the 1990 GMA Dove Awards. Puffy AmiYumi
is a Japanese pop rock duo formed in Tokyo in 1995, consisting of singers Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura. In the United States, they adopted the name Puffy AmiYumi to avoid legal naming conflicts with Sean Combs, who also performed under the name Puffy. They sing in Japanese and English. Onuki and Yoshimura were scouted by Sony-affiliated talent agencies and put together in the mid-1990s.
