The district is fully within Fort Bend County, accounting for nearly a quarter of the counties representation. Ron Reynolds (politician)
Ronald Eugene Reynolds (born September 18, 1973) is an American lawyer and politician who is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives representing state District 27. He was first elected in 2010. Reynolds was also an attorney in private practice with the Brown, Brown & Reynolds law firm, but was suspended from the practice of law. He was disbarred on July 29, 2019. Additionally, Reynolds has served as a Houston Associate Municipal Judge. In November 2015, Reynolds was convicted on multiple misdemeanor counts under Texas' Barratry & Solicitation of Professional Employment statute. He was fined and sentenced to 365 days in county jail. On November 29, 2017, the El Paso Court of Appeals, hearing the case on transfer from the Beaumont Court of Appeals, affirmed the conviction. Missouri City is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, within the metropolitan area. The city is mostly in Fort Bend County, with a small portion in Harris County. Sienna, Texas
Sienna, formerly known as Sienna Plantation, is a census-designated place and master-planned community located in Missouri City, mostly in its extraterritorial jurisdiction, within Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. The population was 20,204 at the 2020 census, up from 13,721 at the 2010 census. History The Sienna subdivision is on land that previously operated as a sugar and cotton plantation. Purchased in 1840 by South Carolinian Jonathan D. Waters, the tract included a wharf along the Brazos River. In 1872, Houston businessman Thomas W. House purchased the property, followed by former Houston mayor Thomas H. Scanlan in 1913. Arcola is a city in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States, within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area. Stafford, Texas
Stafford is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, in the metropolitan area. The city is mostly in Fort Bend County, with a small part in Harris County. As of the 2020 census, Stafford's population was 17,666, down from 17,693 at the 2010 census. History William Stafford established a plantation with a cane mill and a horse-powered cotton gin in 1830. On April 15, 1836, during the Texas Revolution, the forces of Antonio López de Santa Anna stopped at Stafford's plantation and ordered it burned. 2022 Texas Elections
The 2022 Texas elections were held on November 8, 2022. Primary elections were held on March 1, with runoffs held on May 24 for primary candidates who did not receive a majority of the vote.
