Testament Records was an American independent record label based in Philadelphia, later Chicago, then Pasadena. Founded in 1963 by ''Down Beat'' magazine editor and writer Pete Welding, the label specialized in American roots music, releasing some thirty LPs — mainly blues, but also gospel, country and jazz albums until 1977. The Testament Records label, based in Great Britain, specialises in historical classical music recordings, including previously unreleased broadcast performances by Arturo Toscanini and the NBC Symphony Orchestra and the pianist Solomon. Testament is an American Thrash metal, thrash metal band from Berkeley, California. Formed in 1983 under the name Legacy, the band's current lineup comprises rhythm guitarist Eric Peterson (musician), Eric Peterson, lead vocalist Chuck Billy (vocalist), Chuck Billy, lead guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio and drummer Dave Lombardo. Testament has experienced many lineup changes over the years, with Peterson being the only remaining original member, though they have since been rejoined by one of its songwriters Skolnick, who had been out of the band from 1992 to 2005. ''Testament'' is a 1996 video game by Insanity. It is a horror First-person shooter. Plot The game follows a soldier who participates in an expedition to find crypt of the ancient magus Ghuwta. Ghuwta a powerful sorcerer who ruled a strong empire was 4,000 years ago. The player's character gets separated from the expedition and has to escape the haunted land. Gameplay The game has similar gameplay to ''Wolfenstein 3D'' and ''Doom''. There are 16 levels in the game and the player has to find a piece of scroll (the eponymous Testament) in an every single level.
