Thailand Cricket Ground or Terdthai Cricket Ground is a college ground in Lat Krabang district, Bangkok, Thailand. The Terdthai Cricket Ground (TCG) in Thailand is where Thailand Cricket League matches are played. In 2015, TCG was named as one of the hosts venues of the Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier's along with Asian Institute of Technology Ground. It also hosted the 2020 ACC Eastern Region T20 qualifier between Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal and Singapore. It was the first time that an official Twenty20 International (T20I) men's tournament was played in Thailand. Lat Krabang ( th, ลาดกระบัง, ) is one of the eastern districts of Bangkok. Geography & history Lat Krabang (literally translating to "slope of shield") is a second largest district of Bangkok (the first one is neighbouring district Nong Chok). Neighbouring districts are (from the south clockwise): Bang Bo, Bang Sao Thong and Bang Phli ( Samut Prakan province); Prawet, Saphan Sung, Min Buri and Nong Chok (Bangkok) and Mueang Chachoengsao (Chachoengsao province). 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament held in Thailand from 28 November to 5 December 2015. It was the second edition of the Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier. Eight teams contested the tournament, with the hosts, Thailand, being joined by the bottom two teams from the 2014 World Twenty20 and five regional qualifiers. Ireland defeated Bangladesh in the final by two wickets, with both teams qualifying for the 2016 World Twenty20 tournament in India. Bangladesh's Rumana Ahmed was the player of the tournament and was the leading wicket-taker, while Ireland's Cecelia Joyce led the tournament in runs. Asian Institute Of Technology Ground
The Asian Institute of Technology Ground is a University ground in Bangkok, Thailand. The ground is owned by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The AIT field is one of the three cricket fields in Thailand where Thailand Cricket League matches are played. The AIT Cricket Team has also won the Bangkok Cricket League 'A' Division two times during the past three years. It also boasts of a 9-hole golf course and a swimming pool. The self-contained campus also offers facilities including badminton, takraw, table tennis, tennis, basketball, cricket, volleyball and swimming. 2020 Asia Cup Qualifier
The 2022 Asia Cup Qualifier was a men's cricket tournament which took place in Oman in August 2022 to determine qualification for the 2022 Asia Cup (which was originally scheduled to be played in 2020). The 2020 editions of the ACC Western and Eastern Region T20 tournaments were held in February and March 2020 by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), with thirteen teams competing in total (eight in the Western event and five in the Eastern event) with the aim of progressing to the qualifier. These were scheduled to be followed by the Asia Cup Qualifier tournament in Malaysia, which was due to be played in August 2020. However, in July 2020, the Asia Cup was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in the postponement of the Qualifier.
