Panamerican Tennis Center (''Centro Panamericano de Tenis''), formerly The Telcel Tennis Complex, is a tennis center in Zapopan, Mexico. It was officially opened on 15 October 2010, in a ceremony and exhibition tournament featuring tennis professionals Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. The complex consists of a main court with a capacity of 2,592, 8 tournament courts, 4 practice courts and an underground parking lot. It hosted the Tennis at the 2011 Pan American Games, tennis competition at the 2011 Pan American Games. For the games it had a temporary capacity of 6,639 for the entire complex. It was sponsored by the Mexican communications company Telcel. The Panamerican Tennis Center hosted the Abierto Zapopan from 2019 to 2022, a tennis tournament part of the WTA 250 and since, 2022, is the home of the WTA 1000 Guadalajara Open Akron, GDL Open Akron, the first of its kind in Latin America. Darian King (born 26 April 1992 in Bridgetown) is a Barbadian tennis player. He has a career-high Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) singles ranking of world No. 106 achieved on 8 May 2017, and a career-high ATP doubles ranking of No. 156 achieved on 21 October 2019. He has represented Barbados at the Davis Cup and at the 2016 Olympics. His first Grand Slam appearance came at the 2017 US Open, where he lost to fourth seed Alexander Zverev in straight sets. Rafael Arévalo González (; born July 4, 1986) is a retired professional tennis player from El Salvador. The majority of Arévalo's professional career has been restricted to playing on the Futures (ITF) circuit, with a further 22 appearances for the El Salvador Davis Cup team; he also encountered modest success in the juniors, reaching a peak of No. 10 in 2004. Marcelo Arévalo González (; born October 17, 1990) is a Salvadoran professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 5 in doubles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved on 14 November 2022. Together with his career-high singles ranking of world No. 139, attained in April 2018, Arévalo is the highest-ranked player, male or female, across both disciplines in Salvadoran tennis history. Víctor Estrella Burgos (; born August 2, 1980) is a retired Dominican professional tennis player. In 2014, Estrella became the first Dominican to reach the top 100 in the ATP rankings. He also became the first Dominican player to reach the semifinals in an ATP 250 tournament in Bogota. Sebastien Albric Havard Vidal Walters (born 9 December 1989) is a Guatemalan former professional tennis player. Born in Guatemala City and of French and Welsh descent, Vidal played in 20 Davis Cup ties for Guatemala from 2007 to 2014, winning six singles and eight doubles rubbers.
