''Ten Days to Tulara'' is a 1958 American Western film directed by George Sherman and starring Sterling Hayden, Grace Raynor and Rodolfo Hoyos, Jr.. Plot Tramp pilot Scott McBride goes to meet a Mr. Rodriguez who has a mission for him in the South American jungle. He turns out to be Cesar, Scotty's old enemy, who demands that Scotty fly him and his henchmen, on the lam on a robbery and murder charge, to a waiting ship on the other side of the continent. George Sherman
George Sherman (July 14, 1908 – March 15, 1991) was an American film director and producer of low-budget Western films. One obituary said his "credits rival in number those of anyone in the entertainment industry." Biography George Sherman was born in New York City on July 14, 1908. At age 14 he sailed aboard the SS ''Mongolia'' to Los Angeles, California, where he found work in the mail room at Warner Bros. studios via a film editor friend. Sherman was credited for working on props on '' Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'' (1928). Sterling Walter Hayden (born Sterling Relyea Walter; March 26, 1916 – May 23, 1986) was an American actor, author, sailor and decorated Marine Corps officer and an Office of Strategic Services' agent during World War II. A leading man for most of his career, he specialized in westerns and film noir throughout the 1950s, in films such as John Huston's ''The Asphalt Jungle'' (1950), Nicholas Ray's ''Johnny Guitar'' (1954), and Stanley Kubrick's '' The Killing'' (1956). Alex Phillips (cinematographer)
Alexander Pelepiock (January 11, 1900 – June 14, 1977) was a Canadian-born Mexican cinematographer known for working in over 200 films, most of them during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. His most well-known works include '' The Other One'' (1946), '' Desired'' (1951), ''En La Palma de Tu Mano'' (1952), and '' Untouched'' (1955). Throughout his career, he was nominated fourteen times for an Ariel Award for Best Cinematography which he won twice for ''En La Palma de Tu Mano'' and '' Untouched''. In 1973, Phillips was recognized with a Golden Ariel from the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences for his excellence and contributions to the Mexican film industry.
