''Tell the Truth'' (german: Sag' die Wahrheit) is a 1946 German comedy film directed by Helmut Weiss and starring Gustav Fröhlich, Mady Rahl, and Ingeborg von Kusserow. The film had a troubled production, and was originally filming in the final days of the Nazi era with Heinz Rühmann and his wife Hertha Feiler in the lead roles. Production was halted when Soviet forces took control of the Tempelhof Studios during the Battle of Berlin The Battle of Berlin, designated as the Berlin Strategic Offensive Operation by the Soviet Union, and also known as the Fall of Berlin, was one of the last major offensives of the European theatre of World War II. The "5" Royales
The "5" Royales was an American rhythm and blues (R&B) vocal group from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States, that combined gospel, jump blues and doo-wop, marking an early and influential step in the evolution of rock and roll. Most of their big R&B hits were recorded in 1952 and 1953 and written by the guitarist Lowman "Pete" Pauling. Cover versions of the band's songs hit the Top 40, including "Dedicated to the One I Love" (the Shirelles and the Mamas & the Papas), "Tell the Truth" (Ray Charles and Ike & Tina Turner), and "Think" (James Brown & The Famous Flames). Brown modeled his first vocal group after the "5" Royales, and both Eric Clapton and Stax guitarist Steve Cropper cited Pauling as a key influence. "Tell the Truth" is a song by the English–American band Derek and the Dominos, released in 1970 as the eighth track on their album '' Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs''. The song was composed primarily by keyboardist Bobby Whitlock, with guitarist Eric Clapton adding the last verse. The band recorded the track at Criteria Studios in Miami, Florida in August 1970, with Tom Dowd as their producer. An earlier version of "Tell the Truth" was recorded in London during the sessions for George Harrison's 1970 triple album '' All Things Must Pass''. The session marked the first recordings by Derek and the Dominos. Produced by Phil Spector, this original, faster version of the song featured guitar contributions from Harrison and Dave Mason. ''The Roar of Love'' is a 1980 concept album and fourth studio album by Christian band 2nd Chapter of Acts, that recounts the story of ''The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'', the first published book in ''The Chronicles of Narnia'', a series by C. S. Lewis. According to band member Matthew Ward, all the vocals were cut in a bedroom of the house the trio lived in at the time. They converted their garage into a mixing room, knocked a hole in the bedroom wall and ran a microphone cord into it. The songs have a heavy use of synthesizers. Tell the Truth! ( be, Гавары праўду, ''Havary Praŭdu'') is a campaign in Belarus, which was started on 25 February 2010 by educational and research institution "Movement Forward" and is supported by some social public figures. Belarusian poet Uladzimir Niaklajeu is the founder and former leader of the campaign. For a long time, the objective of the campaign was to collect and distribute true information about the situation in the society and state and only 6 month after Niaklajeu declared about the true objective of the campaign – victory in the coming presidential elections. In May 2010, dozens of activists of the campaign were subjected to persecution by Belarusian authorities. The campaign has become a basis for nominating Uladzimir Niaklajeu as a candidate on presidential elections of 2010 and it continued after the end of the elections.
