Tehrik-e-Jafaria
Tehreek-e-Jafaria ( ur, ; TJP ; en, Movement of Shia Law) was a Shia political party, which was founded in 1979 by Syed Arif Hussain Al Hussaini.Its creation coincided with the enforcement of controversial Islamic laws by then President of Pakistan, General Mohammad Zia-ul-Haq. At the same time, 1979 Iranian Revolution in Shi'a Iran added extra confidence and comfort in the movement. Jafaria Students Organization Pakistan, founded in 1997, was the student wing of TJP. History Foundation It was founded by a committee of Shia ulema, and Syed Muhammad Dehlavi of Karachi was elected its first president. After his demise, Mufti Jafar Hussain was elected its president. Syed Arif Hussain Al Hussaini ( ur, ) (November 25, 1946 - August 5, 1988) was an Islamic religious leader of Shia Islam, Shia Muslims in Pakistan and founder of Shia Islam, Shia Islamist Sociological classifications of religious movements, Movement Tehrik-e-Jafaria in Pakistan.He also known as Khomanei-e-Pakistan. Shia Ulema Council (S.U.C) ( ur, ; English language, English: Council of Shia Islam, Shiite Muslim Scholars) is a Shia Islam, Shiite Muslim religio-political organization in Pakistan and a board of Shia Islam, Shiite Muslim affiliated with the Islamic council of Iran. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi (; 12 May 1940– 25 July 2022) was the patron-in-chief of the supreme Shia ullama board and president of Tehrik-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafaria ( ar, تحریکِ نفاذِ فقہ جعفريه), the Shiite-law implementation movement. The Muttahida Majlis–e–Amal (MMA; Urdu: , "United Council of Action") is a political alliance consisting of conservative, Islamist, religious, and far-right parties of Pakistan. Naeem Siddiqui (the founder of Tehreek e Islami) proposed such an alliance of all the religious parties back in the 1990s. Qazi Hussain Ahmad endeavored for it and due to his efforts, it was formed in 2002 in a direct opposition to the policies led by President Pervez Musharraf to support for the War in Afghanistan.
