Taylor Brown (basketball)
Taylor Darnell Brown (born August 4, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who plays as power forward. Professional career On February 25, 2017, Brown moved to Lietuvos rytas Vilnius by signing a 1+1 deal with Rytas paying buyout to the Polish team. On May 24, 2017, it was reported that Brown along with other American-born teammates Corey Fisher and Clevin Hannah were partying and consuming alcohol in Vilnius nightclubs right after losing the Game 3 of the LKL Playoffs on May 20. All of them were denying the fact but the incontestable pictures were published, which shattered all the doubts. The semi-final game was crucial as following it the series moved to Panevėžys, where Rytas lost the game and the series 1–3, resulting in second shocking fiasco during the same season for the club. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. Rickey Darnell Brown (born August 29, 1958) is an American former professional basketball player. At a height of 2.08 m (6'10") tall, he played at the power forward and center positions. High school Brown attended and played high school basketball at West Fulton High School, in Atlanta, Georgia. College career Brown played NCAA Division I college basketball at Mississippi State University, with the Mississippi State Bulldogs, from 1976 to 1980. Professional career Brown was selected by the Golden State Warriors, in the first round (13th pick overall) of the 1980 NBA draft. He played with the Warriors, from 1980 to 1982.
