Tareq Abdullah (football Manager)
Tareq Abdullah ( ar, طارق عبدالله; born 6 September 1995) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a right-back or defensive midfielder for Saudi Pro League side Al-Tai. Club career Tareq Abdullah began his career at Al-Ittihad and was promoted to the first team during the 2016–17 season. He made his league debut for the club on 7 April 2017, starting in the 1–1 draw against Al-Nassr. On 5 February 2018, Abdullah signed his first professional contract with the club. On 4 October 2018, Abdullah was substituted off the pitch after getting injured in the league match against Al-Fateh. Later, it was announced that he had injured his ACL and would undergo surgery. Abdullah made his return on 24 November 2019 in the 2–1 win against Al-Ettifaq. On 15 October 2020, Abdullah joined Damac on loan. On 4 July 2021, Abdullah joined Al-Taawoun on a free transfer. Arab Club Champions Cup
The Arab Club Champions Cup ( ar, كأس العرب للأندية الأبطال, french: Ligue des Champions Arabe) is an annual regional club football competition organised by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) and contested by elite clubs from the Arab world. The tournament is contested by a total of 38 teams – 19 from the Asian Football Confederation and 19 from the Confederation of African Football. Founded in 1981, the tournament was held alongside the Arab Cup Winners' Cup and the Arab Super Cup throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, until the Cup Winners' Cup and Super Cup were merged with the Champions Cup in 2002. 2016–17 Saudi Crown Prince Cup
The 2016–17 Saudi Crown Prince Cup was the 42nd season of the Saudi Crown Prince Cup since its establishment in 1957. This season's competition featured a total of 30 teams, 14 teams from the Pro League, and 16 teams from the First Division. It started with the Preliminary stage on 15 August 2016 and concluded with the final on 10 March 2017. The holders were Al-Hilal who beat Al-Ahli 2–1 in the previous season's final on 19 February 2016. They were eliminated in the semi-finals by Al-Nassr. Al-Ittihad won their 8th title following a 1–0 win over Al-Nassr in the final. Saudi Crown Prince Cup
The Saudi Crown Prince's Cup ( ar, كأس ولي العهد) was the Saudi Arabian annual cup competition. It was the oldest domestic football competition in Saudi Arabia, its first edition was held in 1956–57, but was not crowned from 1975 until 1990. The competition consists of teams from the top two tiers of Saudi league football (Professional League and First Division League), as well as the competition runs from August until February. Al-Hilal have won the most titles with 13 wins, also Al-Hilal has contested more finals with 17. Al-Ittihad is the last champion being the winner of 2016–17 season. 2018 King Cup
The 2018 King Cup, or The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, was the 43rd edition of the King Cup since its establishment in 1957, and the 11th under the current format. It started on 3 January and concluded with the final on 12 May 2018. The winner qualified for the 2019 AFC Champions League group stage. Al-Ittihad won their eighth title after a 3–1 win over Al-Faisaly in the final on 12 May 2018. Pro League side Al-Hilal were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by Al-Qadsiah in the Round of 16. It was the earliest exit by the title holders since the introduction of the new format. The King Cup (sometimes spelled King's), officially known as The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Cup ( ar, كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين), is the Saudi Arabian football knockout cup competition, run by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. The cup was created in 1957 and was played until 1990. It was re-launched again in 2007 as ''King's Cup of Champions'', and was played by only the top 6 finishers of the Professional League plus the Crown Prince Cup and Federation Cup winners. Since 2014, it was renamed as ''King's Cup'', the competition returned to its roots by implementing the old format. 153 clubs have taken part in the tournament.
