Intrapersonal Communication
Intrapersonal communication is the process by which an individual communicates within themselves, acting as both sender and receiver of messages, and encompasses the use of unspoken words to consciously engage in self-talk and inner speech. Intrapersonal communication, also referred to as internal monologue, autocommunication, self-talk, inner speech, or internal discourse, is a person's inner voice which provides a running monologue of thoughts while they are conscious. It is usually tied to a person's sense of self. It is particularly important in planning, problem solving, self-reflection, self-image, critical thinking, emotions, and subvocalization (reading in one's head). As a result, it is relevant to a number of mental disorders, such as depression, and treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy which seek to alleviate symptoms by providing strategies to regulate cognitive behaviour. Terraplane (band)
Terraplane were a 1980s rock music, rock band from London, England. Composed of five musicians, they released two albums before disbanding in 1988. The band featured three musicians who would go on to form the hard rock act, Thunder (band), Thunder. They are distinct from the German psychedelic groove rock band Terraplane, based in Wernigerode, which released three albums between 2000 and 2007. History Singer Danny Bowes, guitarist Luke Morley and drummer Harry James and bassist Nick Linden were the original recording line-up. After releasing a single on the independent 'City' label, they soon signed with Epic Records. George Virden Watsky (born September 15, 1986), better known mononymously as Watsky, is an American rapper, singer, musician, songwriter, record producer, poet, author, and illustrator. Watsky broke out as a rapper with his viral video "Pale kid raps fast" in 2011, which featured his trademark chopping style. Vinnie Barrett (born Gwendolyn Hines Woolfolk; 1945) is an American songwriter and musician. Career Barrett graduated from Armstrong High School in Washington, D.C. She studied music at Howard University and the University of the District of Columbia. She started the singing group ''Vinnie Barrett and the Unlimits'' in local clubs around Washington D.C., and sang with the Flowerettes, a back up group for Phil Flowers. Pearl Mae Bailey (March 29, 1918 – August 17, 1990) was an American actress, singer and author. After appearing in vaudeville, she made her Broadway debut in '' St. Louis Woman'' in 1946.
