Heavy is a news aggregation platform based in New York City. It operates through its flagship website, Heavy.com, and Spanish-language platform, AhoraMismo.com. The website specializes in "5 Fast Facts" posts, which aggregate facts about trending topics and people. History Heavy.com was founded by Simon Assaad and David Carson in 1999 as a video-focused entertainment site aimed primarily at young men, debuting audiovisual pop culture phenomena like the '' Kung Faux'' series. Assaad and Carson said they modeled the highly interactive site on video games. The website was rebooted in 2012 as a news site that reached more than 9 million readers a month as of January 2017. Michael John McKean (; born October 17, 1947) is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, composer, singer, and musician known for various roles in film and television such as Lenny Kosnowski in '' Laverne & Shirley'', David St. Hubbins in '' This Is Spinal Tap'', and Chuck McGill on ''Better Call Saul''. McKean's breakout role was annoying neighbor Lenny Kosnowski on the sitcom ''Laverne & Shirley''. Jonathan Ray Banks (born January 31, 1947) is an American actor. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Chillum Heights, Maryland, while attending Indiana University Bloomington Banks did theatre. Peter Gould is an American television writer, director and producer. He worked on all five seasons of the AMC drama ''Breaking Bad''. He was nominated for four Writers Guild of America (WGA) Awards for his work on the series.
