Wild Orchid (band)
Wild Orchid was an American girl group consisting of Fergie (singer), Stacy Ferguson, Stefanie Ridel, and Renee Sands, Renee Sandstrom. Beginning under the name "NRG" in 1990, the group changed their name to Wild Orchid in 1992 and signed with RCA Records in 1994. The group released two albums, earning Billboard Music Awards nominations with their debut. In 2001, Ferguson left the group. Sandstrom and Ridel continued as a duo, releasing Wild Orchid's final album ''Hypnotic'' in 2003. In 2013, ''Us Weekly'' named the group number 18 of the 25 'Best Girl Groups of All Time'. Vibe is an entertainment channel available to customers of New Zealand satellite television provider Sky. Launched as a basic tier channel, it was moved up a pay tier to the Entertainment Package in February 2018. The channel has a target demographic of all 25–54, with a female skew. ''The Hit List'' (aka Hit List or YTV's Hit List) was a music video television program that aired on YTV, a Canadian specialty television network aimed at children. The series first started in 1991, hosted by Tarzan Dan and had 14 seasons in all. The first 6 seasons of ''The Hit List'' were hosted by "Tarzan" Dan Freeman, while there were numerous hosts to follow from Aashna Patel, Leslie Bosacki and Exan Auyoung to Rob Fournier and Danielle McGimsie. As of fall 2005, ''The Hit List'' went on an indefinite hiatus. ''Hard Copy'' is an American tabloid television show that ran in syndication from 1989 to 1999. ''Hard Copy'' was aggressive in its use of questionable material on television, including gratuitous violence. The original hosts of ''Hard Copy'' were Alan Frio and Terry Murphy. Frio left the series after the 1990–91 season and was succeeded by Barry Nolan in the fall of 1991. Nolan and Murphy would stay until after the 1997–98 season, when they both departed. Across its 35-year history the show primarily featured performances by R&B, soul, and hip hop artists.
