Austin Pendleton
Austin Campbell Pendleton (born March 27, 1940) is an American actor, playwright, theatre director, and instructor. He is known as a prolific character actor on the stage and screen who has appeared in films including ''Catch-22'' (1970); '' What's Up, Doc?'' (1972); ''The Front Page'' (1974); ''The Muppet Movie'' (1979), ''Short Circuit'' (1986); ''Mr. and Mrs. Bridge'' (1990); ''My Cousin Vinny'' (1992); '' Amistad'' (1997); '' A Beautiful Mind'' (2001), which earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture nomination; and '' Finding Nemo'' (2003). Pendleton received a Tony Award nomination for Best Direction of a Play for the Broadway revival of ''The Little Foxes'' in 1981. He has received two Drama Desk Award nominations and the recipient of a Special Drama Desk Award in 2007. Michael George Murphy (born May 5, 1938) is an American film, television and stage actor. He often plays unethical or morally ambiguous characters in positions of authority, including politicians, executives, and lawyers. He is also known for his frequent collaborations with director Robert Altman, having appeared in twelve films, TV series and miniseries directed by Altman from 1963 to 2004, including the title role in the miniseries ''Tanner '88''. Daniel Shor (born November 16, 1956) is an American actor, director, writer, and acting teacher with a career spanning over 40 years. His most recognized roles include Enoch Emery in John Huston's ''Wise Blood'' (1979), Ram in ''Tron'' (1982), and Billy the Kid in ''Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure'' (1989). Early life Shor was born and raised in New York City. He attended McBurney School from the 6th through the 8th grade. His mother, an actress, died when he was 14. Michael Tolan (born Seymour Tuchow, November 27, 1925 – January 31, 2011) was an American actor. Early life and education The son of Morris Tuchow, Tolan was born in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Central High School and Wayne State University in Detroit and studied under Stella Adler and at Stanford University. Career Tolan's early acting experience came on radio station WXYZ in Detroit, where he was heard on ''The Green Hornet'' and ''The Lone Ranger''. He also worked with the Actors Company. The American Institute for Stuttering is an American nonprofit organization that provides universally affordable speech therapy to people who stutter. The organization, legally known as The American Institute for Stuttering Treatment and Professional Training (AIS), was founded in 1998 by speech-language pathologist Catherine Otto Montgomery in New York, New York.
