Manslaughter is a common law legal term for homicide considered by law as less culpable than murder. Verbal Abuse is an American hardcore punk/crossover thrash band formed in Houston in 1981. They were one of the early bands of hardcore punk. In 1983, they relocated to San Francisco where they recorded a solid hardcore album. By 1985, along with multiple band member changes, they had transitioned to a crossover thrash sound, becoming a significant part of the nascent California crossover thrash scene. Eventually they settled in Oakland, California. ''Dry as a Bone'' is the second and final EP by the American rock band Green River. It was released in June 1987 through Sub Pop Records. Overview In June 1986, the band began production on its second EP with local producer Jack Endino at Reciprocal Recording in Seattle, Washington. Green River chose to record ''Dry As a Bone'' for Bruce Pavitt's new label, Sub Pop. However, Pavitt couldn't afford to release it until the following year, and, as had happened with ''Come On Down'', the record was delayed. Mudhoney is an American rock music, rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, on January 1, 1988, following the demise of Green River (band), Green River. Its members are singer and rhythm guitarist Mark Arm, lead guitarist Steve Turner (guitarist), Steve Turner, bassist Guy Maddison and drummer Dan Peters. Original bassist Matt Lukin left the band in 1999, but rejoined the band in December 2000 for a tour that lasted through January 2001.
