Takako Ida
is a former Japanese badminton player. Born in Saitama Prefecture, Ida graduated from Saitama High School. She was part of the national women's team that competed at the 1994 and 1998 Asian Games, winning the bronze medals in both events, and also participated at the 1994, 1996 and 1998 Uber Cups. She won the women's singles title at the National Championships tournament in 1996 and 1997. Ida also competed at the 1997 East Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, clinched the women's singles silver and the women's team bronze medals. Anu Weckström
Anu Kristiina Nieminen (born 16 December 1977; née Weckström) is a Finnish badminton player. Born in Helsinki, Nieminen has joined the national team in 1994. She is one of the best badminton players in Finland, having won twelve times National Championships, and competed at the Summer Olympics in four consecutive times. Nieminen first represented Finland at the Olympic level at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She reached the second round before losing to Kanako Yonekura of Japan. Giraldilla International
The Giraldilla International is the name of an international badminton tournament, which is organized as an open championship of Cuba. The competition is held annually since 2000 and is now a young supraregional Badminton Championship. The organizer was the Cuban Badminton Association (''Federación Cubana de Badminton'') in cooperation with the Badminton Pan Am continental federation. Elena Ivanivna Nozdran ( ua, Олена Іванівна Ноздрань; born 20 July 1975) is a badminton player from Ukraine. She played at the 2005 World Badminton Championships in Anaheim.
