Tadepalligudem Assembly constituency is a constituency in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, representing the state legislative assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of Narasapuram (Lok Sabha constituency), along with Achanta, Palakollu, Narasapuram, Bhimavaram, Undi and Tanuku. ''Kottu Satyanarayana'' is the present MLA of the constituency, who won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from YSR Congress Party. , there are a total of 208,490 electors in the constituency. Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly or Andhra Pradesh Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature. The Legislative Assembly consists of 175 members which are elected by adult universal suffrage under the first-past-the-post system. The duration of the Assembly is five years from the date appointed for its first meeting, unless it is decided to dissolve the Assembly sooner. The Legislative Assembly's main functions include legislation, overseeing of administration, passing the budget, and airing public grievances. The assembly is Bicameral and holds three sessions annually: one for Budget, Monsoon and Winter. The Legislative Assembly took up residence in the interim Legislative Assembly Building in Amaravati beginning in the 2016 Budget session. Kottu Satyanarayana
Kottu roti ( ta, கொத்து ரொட்டி; si, කොත්තු රොටි), alternatively spelled kothu roti, is a Sri Lankan dish consisting of chopped roti, a meat curry dish of choice (such as mutton, beef, seafood, or chicken), along with scrambled egg, onions, and chillies. The ingredients are chopped together using special cleavers as they sautee on a hot griddle. A variation of the dish is found in the South Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, known as kothu parotta ( ta, கொத்து பரோட்டா), which is made using parotta instead of roti. 2019 Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Elections
The 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on 11 April 2019 for constituting the fifteenth Legislative Assembly in the state. They were held alongside the 2019 Indian general election. The YSR Congress Party won the election in a landslide, winning 151 of the 175 seats, with the incumbent Telugu Desam Party winning just 23. The Jana Sena Party entered the legislature with one seat, while the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party failed to win any seats. The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The United Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election of 2009 took place in April 2009, concurrently with the 2009 Indian general election.
