Galatsi Olympic Hall
The Galatsi Olympic Hall is a multi-use list of indoor arenas, indoor arena that is located in Galatsi, Athens, Greece. It was the site of Table Tennis at the 2004 Summer Olympics, table tennis and Gymnastics at the 2004 Summer Olympics, rhythmic gymnastics at the 2004 Summer Olympics. The Galatsi Olympic Hall has a seating capacity of 6,200, which includes 5,141 permanent seats in the upper tier, and the removable lower tier seats. History The arena was completed in May 2004, and officially opened on July 30, 2004, shortly before the beginning of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. After the 2004 Olympics, Galatsi Olympic Hall served as the home court of the Greek Basketball League club AEK BC, before the team moved to the larger Olympic Indoor Hall in 2006. The arena was then turned over to the private sector (Acropol Haragionis AE and Sonae Sierra SGPS S.A), and was used as a shopping center. Mark Hazinski
Mark "Haz" Hazinski (born April 20, 1985, in South Bend, Indiana) is an American professional table tennis athlete. He started playing table tennis at the age of 9 and by the age of 15 had become the youngest player in the history of United States Table Tennis to make the United States Men's National Table Tennis Team. Hazinski simultaneously represented the United States Men's Team and United States Junior Team for 4 consecutive years (2000-2003). As a youth Hazinski was professionally trained by United States Olympic Head Coach Danny Seemiller and United States Junior Coach Mark Nordby. Hazinski spent multiple years (2004–2006) playing professional sports leagues in Germany and Sweden. In 2007 Mark decided to put his professional career on hold to attend Texas Wesleyan University on a full scholarship for academics and Table Tennis. Mohamed Boudjadja
Mohamed Sofiane Boudjadja (born 8 November 1983) is an Algerian table tennis player. He competed in the men's singles event at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Mohamed started his international career in 1998 when he was a junior. In 2001, he became Vice Champion of Africa in the hope category. He made his senior team debut and won an individual bronze medal at the 2002 Arab Championships in Jordan. He then established himself as an integral member of the Algerian national senior team. He participated in six World Table Tennis Championships between 2003 and 2010. He notably distinguished himself at the African Games. He has participated in all editions since 2003, i.e. five times. Russ Lavale
Russell Lavale (born 12 July 1974) is an Australian table tennis player who has competed at three Olympic Games. He competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the men's doubles event with Paul Langley, finishing in equal 25th position. At the 2000 Sydney Olympics he competed in the men's singles and finished in equal 49th position. At the 2004 Athens Olympics he competed in both the singles and doubles events. In the singles he again finished in equal 49th position, and in the doubles, partnered with Trevor Brown, he finished equal 25th.
