The State Sports Centre (known commercially as the Quaycentre) is a multi-use indoor arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and was opened in November 1984. With a total of 3,854 fixed and retractable seats the main arena is a focal point of the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. Jean-Michel Saive (born 17 November 1969) is a Belgian former professional table tennis. Saive competed at seven consecutive Olympics between 1988 and 2012, and he was also a winner in singles at European Championship 1994. Personal life Born in Liège, Saive began playing as a small boy. His father was the tenth-ranked Belgian player, and his mother won the Belgian ladies' doubles championships when she was pregnant with him. At the age of thirteen, Saive was the fourth-ranked Belgian player and joined the national team. His younger brother Philippe Saive is also a table tennis player. Career In 1985 Saive was ranked best player in Belgium, a place which he kept until 2011 without interruption. In 1994 he made it to world number one for 515 days (from 9 February 1994 to 8 June 1995 and from 26 March 1996 to 24 April 1996). Chetan Baboor (April 22, 1974) is an Indian international table tennis champion and winner of the Arjuna Award for 1997 - an award recognizing outstanding achievement in sports in India. He belongs to the Babbur Kamme community of Holenarasipura, Karnataka. Chetan has won four national titles and double golds in Commonwealth Championships. He also competed at the three Olympic Games. Petr Korbel
Petr Korbel (born 6 June 1971 in Havířov, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech table tennis player who has competed in five Olympics from 1992 to 2008. His best performance was in 1996 when he came fourth in the singles, losing to Germany's Jörg Roßkopf in the bronze medal match. Petr Korbel is the most successful among the current Czech table tennis players. He has been one of the top European and world players for more than 10 years. Korbel's best position in the ITTF world rankings was 16th place in 2001. He is currently ranked 119th (October 2012).
