TV Aparecida
Rede Aparecida (), also known as TV Aparecida is a Brazilian religious television channel based in the municipality of Aparecida in the state of São Paulo. History TV Aparecida was an initiative with support from the Catholic Church. The Foundation Our Lady of Aparecida, the sponsor of radio for Aparecida, won the award to broadcast on UHF channel 59 of Aparecida - SP which went live on September 8, 2005. In April 2010, it became part of the grid Telefónica Digital TV. That same year, on August 23, TV Aparecida made a partnership with the New Song and it held the station's first presidential debate. It is the first of its kind for a religious TV station in Brazil. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). The ''480'' identifies a vertical resolution of 480 lines, and the ''i'' identifies it as an interlaced resolution. The field rate, which is 60 Hz (or 59.94 Hz when used with NTSC color), is sometimes included when identifying the video mode, i.e. 480i60; another notation, endorsed by both the International Telecommunication Union in BT.601 and SMPTE in SMPTE 259M, includes the frame rate, as in 480i/30. The other common standard definition digital standard, used in the rest of the world, is 576i. It originated from the need for a standard to digitize analog TV (defined in BT.601) and is now used for digital TV broadcasts and home appliances such as game consoles and DVD disc players. Teresa of Jesus of Los Andes (13 July 1900 – 12 April 1920), born as ''Juana Enriqueta Josephina de Los Sagrados Corazones Fernández Solar'', ( es, Teresa de Jesús de Los Andes) was a Chilean professed religious from the Discalced Carmelites. Fernández Solar was a pious child but had an often unpredictable temperament for she could be prone to anger and being vain but could also demonstrate her charitable and loving nature; she seemed transformed when she decided to become a nun and her character seemed to change for her sole ambition was to dedicate herself to the service of God. But her time in the convent was cut short due to her contracting an aggressive disease that killed her - she knew she would die but was consoled knowing she would be able to make her profession before she died.
