T. J. Turner (defensive Lineman)
Tommy James Turner (May 16, 1963 – August 24, 2009) was an American football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins. He was selected by the Dolphins in the third round of the 1986 NFL draft. He played college football for the University of Houston. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. Florida's Turnpike, designated as unsigned State Road 91 (SR 91), is a toll road in the U.S. state of Florida, maintained by Florida's Turnpike Enterprise (FTE).
