T.J. Bohn
Thomas Joseph Bohn (born January 17, 1980), is an American former professional baseball outfielder, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and Philadelphia Phillies. He made his MLB debut as a late-inning pinch hitter on August 22, 2006. Career Bohn is a 1998 graduate of St. Louis Park High School. He graduated from Bellevue University in 2002. Bohn was drafted by the Mariners in the 30th round (910th overall) of the 2002 Major League Baseball draft. In , Bohn played for the Minor League Baseball (MiLB) Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A Richmond Braves, of the International League (IL). He was designated for assignment by the parent-club Atlanta Braves on September 16, 2007, and was picked up by the Phillies, eight days later. In baseball, batting average (BA) is determined by dividing a player's hits by their total at-bats. It is usually rounded to three decimal places and read without the decimal: A player with a batting average of .300 is "batting three-hundred". If necessary to break ties, batting averages could be taken beyond the .001 measurement. In this context, .001 is considered a "point", such that a .235 batter is 5 points higher than a .230 batter.
