T'HÓ Mayas F.C.
The T'HÓ Mayas Fútbol Club was a Mexican football club based in Homún, Yucatán. The club was founded in 2022, and played in the Serie B of Liga Premier. History The team was founded in May 2022, although during its first years it competed in amateur leagues. In July 2022, the team began procedures to join the Mexican Football Federation, finally in July the club was accepted into the Liga Premier de México, being placed in Serie B, for which it began to compete in professional soccer in Mexico. After the presentation, the team announced its first steps as a professional squad. The club introduced David Patiño as its first coach and later unveiled a project to build a soccer stadium and an attached complex, which will be located in Acanceh. However, while these works are carried out, the team will temporarily play in Homún. The Liga Premier is the third tier of Association football, football in Mexico within the Mexican football league system that governs Serie A de México, Serie A and Serie B de México, Serie B leagues/group competitions. David Patiño
David Patiño (born 6 September 1967) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. He obtained a total number of 28 caps for the Selección de fútbol de México (Mexico national team) between 1993 and 1996, and was a squad member at the 1993 Copa América. He made his debut on 10 February 1993. Career Born in Mexico City, Patiño played professional football for five clubs during his career. He played for UNAM from 1986 to 1993, where he would win the 1990–91 Mexican Primera División title and the 1989 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. He also won a Mexican Primera División title with C.F. Acanceh Municipality
Acanceh Municipality (In the Yucatec Maya Language: “Where the deer moans”) is one of the 106 municipalities in the Mexican state of Yucatán containing (153.29 km2) of land and located roughly 32 km southeast of the city of Mérida. The Serie A has 33 teams (1 Liga MX Reserve Team, 3 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 29 Serie A Teams) divided into two groups. For the 2022–23 season, it will be a return of two short tournaments consisting of 10 total matches played home & away and the liguilla.
