T. L. Maharajan
Tiruchi Loganathan Maharajan is a musician. He is a Tamil classical and Tamil playback singer. He is the eldest son of Tiruchi Loganathan, who is the first playback singer in the Tamil music industry. He is also the grandson of Kalaimaamani C.T Raajakaantham. Aged 10, TLM acted and sang in a play called "Vallalar". His booming voice was well noted and echoed across the stage. Two years later, in the year 1967, he began a career in playback singing through the devotional movie "Thiruvarutchelvar". The song "Kaadhalagi Kasindhu", which he sang with the Legendary Simma Kuraloan T.M.Soundarraajan, composed by K.V. Mahadevan is a heart wrenching devotional number. ''Avan Aval Adhu'' () is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Muktha Srinivasan and written by Visu. The film stars Sivakumar, Lakshmi, Sripriya and Thengai Srinivasan. Manoj–Gyan
Manoj–Gyan was an Indian musical duo consisting of composers Manoj Bhatnagar and Gyan Varma. In the 1980s, the two collaboratively composed music for a few Hindi-language as well as Tamil-language films. Manoj hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh, while Gyan is from Punjab. About In the 1980s the duo ended up composing for movies like Oomai Vizhigal, Senthoora Poove and Inaindha Kaigal, and these movies had several hit songs. In particular, the song "Tholvi Nilayena Ninaithal" sung by P B Srinivas in the movie Oomai Vizhigal became a runaway hit. ''Nayakan'' (; ) is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language gangster film written and directed by Mani Ratnam. Produced by Muktha Srinivasan, the film stars Kamal Haasan, Saranya (in her feature debut) and Karthika, with Janagaraj, Vijayan, M. V. Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan (2 March 1935 – 8 September 2008) was an Indian classical music violinist and music composer. Early life Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan was born on 2 March 1935 and was trained by his father, Ramaswamy Sastry. He was the brother of Kunnakudi Subbalakshmi. Career The violin was his forte. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood.
